You’re only supposed to blow the bloody doors off

So, isn’t it annoying when people start sentences with “so”, we finally got news from deepest Africa that the dynamic duo have completed their mission to reach the summit of Kilimanjaro and in doing so have raised an estimated £3K for Rupert’s Revenge. A massive well done to the pair of them and we look forward to thanking them in person soon.

The Scooter Bash at The Unicorn raised £304.39 through collection boxes at the event and do you remember the 100 rounds of sparring by Gaz Plant and Robert Hill? Well the updated total has now reached an amazing £500, not sure how the total has increased but we not going to argue with it or them!!

At Chorley Show on Saturday we had a bit of fun with “Play Your Cards Right” in memory of Sir Bruce and raised £120.50 in the changeable conditions.

In other news, The Rotary Club have donated £353 to the fund thanks to Rosemary and Derek Peden who hosted a croquet match and Lucy Johnson organised a dress down day at Evershed – Sutherland in Birmingham and raised £80, big thanks to all for choosing to support Rupert.

So, done it again, who are Harry & Claire? We’ve noticed some donations on just giving sighting their wedding – so (!), Harry and Claire, we’d love to thank you personally… if you know this couple or attended / are attending their wedding, please get in touch 😊

This Bank Holiday weekend brings The Italian Job to town with the Bridgnorth Mini Run which will be featured in the next series of Top Gear, The Grand Tour, Pimp My Ride or something similar (Probably). Meeting at the Edgar Davies Ground at 10am on Sunday.
