We’re an hour early?

This blog is not late… OK?

Andrew Maiden has raised £430 at a Shooting Day. No, not a post office job! He did in fact raise the cash whilst hosting a day of shooting… Great work Andrew.

Jemma from Shropshire YFC and her team have donated a huge £500 via fundraising at a county rally that included an auction, a charity concert and some buckets. Big thanks for the support.

This week we received the cheque from Bridgnorth Male Voice Choir for the Choir Mania event held a few weeks back – £1,044.10 – Lovely jubbly – Thanks again all.

And due to the old £1 coins being taken out of circulation Lisa Poxen has emptied the collection box at her salon and passed over £38 for the fund.

Looking at the bank account we see that Nock Deighton have paid in £100. Having investigated this further we have discovered that this relates to sponsorship for Rupertfest, remember that little event?

Claire Mathias, AKA Rupert the Bear, held an impromptu coffee morning on Friday and raised £84.50 which was added to from the Up the Wrekin Walk by Riley by a further £95. Great continued support by the bear!!

Lastly Karen, one of the ladies that completed the Up the Steps Walk, has added a further £20 to bring their total to £350 for the event and Sue & Bolan the dog sent their cash in which actually totalled £355 (not £350, as previously reported). Ta.

Don’t forget to pop and see Thor on Friday at the cinema in Bridgnorth.. there’ll be some big, big surprises at the door!

Finally, just a quick reminder that the clocks change this weekend so the blog will be an hour earlier next week and if this blog appeals we may continue to omit detail for clarity.
